You would need to take the spindle off and have the bearing pressed out, and a new one pressed in. earth4x 07-09-2005, 10:36 AM That is correct. Hi, You have to remove the spindle nut with a breaker bar. I done this once on my Hyundai. It was a tough job and took me a long time to get the old bearing out. I used a hammer and chisel and parts of the brearing to get it out. I did not have a press so I used a piece of 1/2 inch threaded bar with nuts and washer to press it back together. If it happen next time I woule just take it in. In one of the other posts I read it cost $165 for the job? IMO the job was a real pain and a lot of work!
