Im going to buy an integera 95-99 and i know that the ls has 142 hp and the gsr has 170 hp, but should i pay less by getting a ls and get a greddy turbo kit and greddy intercooler kit or should i just get the gsr and not do any mods for a while???? Im stumped and i want to make the right choice.

if you can get the gsr. get the gsr. if not, the ls is still fine.

Personally I would take the LS Turbo but think twice before getting the greddy kit

the greddy kit sucks IMO. stay away from it. the greddy e-manage that they send with the kit sucks. it either runs good or runs like a POS in a car. if i were u i would peice together my own kit and run uberdata on it. it will be much better, safer, and faster than a greddy kit

GSR with boost will spank a LS with boost over and over.

12 psi for LS is safe on stock insides.

gsr is peppy enough to hold you for a while too so its not as big a problem

have patience man. Get the GSR and wait and get the turbo, you will be much happier in the long run.

well i hate to compare apples to oranges but. The ls is very slow in compareson to the gsr. If you are going to get an integra get the gsr. As far as the greddy kit a friend of mine got the kit for his evo and he is only running 10 psi and his car is faster now than when he was running 20psi so if you tune it right the greddy kit is very good. The same goes for any car if you tune well it will run good and if not well... thats your problem

The greddy kit for evos is probably quite different from the greddy kit for integras. the difference of psi is probably relating to the CFM flow of the turbo. More efficient, higher CFM = less boost, but with more power.

yeah thats why i said apples to oranges..

see thats the only thing im so damn impatient....and the big reason why i am is in november i took my eclipse to a shop in houston and had set up a deal with a custom shop and i gave them my deposit which was half of what i was going to do which was 10,000 and to make a long story short in june found out that he took the money and disappeared. So i really just want a car to mod up right now, but at the same time i dont want to do something that ill regret.

Is the ls really that bad....cause from what i hear they work better with boost.

buy a 94 ls for about 3-4 grand build the head a little new head gasket and maybe a valve train and boost it and whoop every stock or close to stock gsr you see. actually an rs integra with no power would be better than a gsr or an ls to start with its lighter..lighter=faster. also if u need more power later go ls vtec with the turbo and make big hp. all imo
