hey guys. i was having a slight problem with the rpms not movin for a second when i would give it gas and then it would "catch" and rev up and it acted like the TPS was out of adjustment or just getting a bad signal or w/e. So i got a new tps and spent a little while driving around the block, moving the tps, driving, moving it a little more till it ran just perfect and it fixed the problem. but now its starting to do it again VERY SLIGHTLY so every other day or so i have to barely move the tps a 32 of an inch or less to get it perfect again but i have to keep doing it every few days and i wonder why it keeps moving out of adjustment or moving the tps or whatever. i was thinking maybe the little screws that connect the TBS to that shaft that connects them maybe needed to be moved but im not sure, so if anyone has any input id be nice. thanks guys

kick it!!! i dunno... maybe put some adhesive around where the screws hold on the tps... just make sure it's the stuff that doesn't damage plastic and can be removed with a solvent just in case?

well fuck, its off again and i losened the bolts to move the tps again and one of the bolts just straight broke in half...with barely any force and with me LOSENING it. but i moved it and tightened down the other so its temporarily fine. but tonight i have to tap out the old broken bolt and put a new one in and ill put some silicon on it to keep it in place this time.. shall see

dont use silicone...use some epoxy. with teh heat in the engine bay, silicone will just get reall gel like and the TPS will be able to move again. if im not mistaken, epoxy is easily broken down with salt water or vinegar, also.

i drilled and extracted the old bolt and threads and put on new hardwear with a lockwasher and used a tiny bit o hightemp silicon that will work fine so it should be good to go

i think the reason it was moving around before was cuz the bolt holding it in place was cracked so i think this will solve the problem, but hanks for all the help guys

i hope your right...i hate electrical problems.

*gets back to looking at the wiring schematics of the TT motor* only, 5,231 more wires to splice together.
