Noise accelerating from engine start

I have a 2005 Camry w/ 5000 miles. Shortly after buying I noticed a noise when I first start on a trip. I've narrowed it down to when I start the engine, put it in drive, and accelerate. Doesn't happen if I didn't just start the engine. Doesn't happen if I just coast forward. It's a slightly metallic click and varies a great deal in how loud it is. I had it at the dealership yesterday and they couldn't duplicate it...but I didn't have it narrowed down well for them. Could this be a pump engaging? A line pressurizing? Or is it normal?

Welcome to the AF!

Please clarify - "...when I turn the engine off, put it in drive, and accelerate." If the engine is off, you can't accelerate. Please rephrase that description.
