Belt Replacment on 00 LXPBking82 07-06-2005, 05:44 PM Hello all, a friend's AC belt snapped the other day on their 2000 LX and asked me to fix it for them. I'm very good at fixing cars, I just have never worked on a honda before. I'm curious as to what the best way to go about putting a new belt on(i.e removing the least amount of parts). Went to Advanced auto parts today and got the belt, but they were sold out of the hayne's/chilton's manuals and won't have anymore for a month. It's 95 out and its only the first week in july. Any help would be appriciated. Peace- superbluecivicsi 07-07-2005, 12:24 AM remove PS belt. untighten 10mm bolt and untighten 12mm adjustment bolt. reinstall ac belt to 1/4 - 1/2 inch delfection. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
