I own a 98 Passat and I am interested in taking both the Passat sign and the Volkswagen emblem off the back of the car. I really enjoy the car but I like it to look streamlined. Has anybody performed this type of work themselves or possibly hired someone to do it?

They are both taped on with heavy duty adhesive tape. Use a hairdryer and heat it up and you should be able to peel it off.
