The best shave a man could get...CivRacer95 07-03-2005, 10:43 PM I just used that title in reference to the power of M. ///M3 that is. I had the oh so wonderful experience of being ,how do you say, beaten by one. Tonight is a rather busy night, due to the fact that there is one huge parade going on tomorrow for the 4th of July. So, looking to catch some races, I decided to venture up to my stomping grounds. Along the way, I met up with a few so so racers, and a few not so so racers. That is until I saw "it". I pulled along side, and could see nothing more than the outline of the driver and their passenger. The windows were tinted incredibly dark. I playfully jumped and slowed down. Feeling almost stupid knowing that at any moment, I would be plucked, raped, and left for the pickin' at his will. Although, this didn't grab his attention much, a few fellow diesel players seemed up for a run. So, I moved forward to catch my new found venturers. One, a mid 90's Dodge Ram. White, lifted about 5 in's or so, and along the A-pillar a few gauges. Quite interesting. The other, a very sleek, black Ford F250 (2K+). More than likely, they wouldn't go lightly, but hey, a race is a race. The driver in the Dodge looked down on me, smiling from ear to ear, I literally felt like he was going to fall through my sunroof he was leening over so far. I gazed up, nodded from under the brim of my cap, and pointed forward. No where else to go right?. He held up three fingers. I smiled. And watched his hands. Apparently the Ford didn't catch this, and once I downshifted, he took that as his opportunity to go. So he did. I awaited the Dodge driver. 2 fingers. 1....GO! Without any trouble at all I pulled away foot by foot up until 70 where I let off. At this point that Ford driver came back. Looking as though he had won the battle. Ah Red light. Excellent. We all stopped momentarily. The light changed so quickly that I didn't have the reaction time to get a launch. So, I did it from a complete stop, no launch and just slowly rolled off the line. By this time, I hear the loud grunt of the diesel. BAM! He was gone. I was stuck playing catch up, and the Ford. Well, it just didn't keep up so well. Although, you remember that M3? Well, he decided to cut loose, and within seconds I see it's gleaming grey body whiz past me, and catch right up to the Dodge. No problem at all. Shocked, I shifted up a few gears and played it off. The two now ahead of me took off, and the results were too obvious from the start. M3 left him behind. So, being almost courageous enough, I decided to catch the M3. I crept up on him once again, and the dude inside rolled down his window. "Gotta keep those diesels in check right?" He smiled and I shook my head. "I'm having a pretty hard time doing it myself!" I replied to him. He nodded and laughed. The two trucks now came up on us again, and we both took off leaving them behind, and the M3 leaving me very far behind. I turned off, and I gave him a thumbs up, his replied with the same gesture. The two trucks came by, and I held up my hand throught the sunroof and gave them the same gesture. They also gave me the same response. I whipped it around, and decided to come back home. I couldn't keep from smiling the entire way home. It was just an incredible feeling to have watching that M3 go at it. Cassiesman, you better get yourself a damn M3 like you plan. Forget your car as of now, don't even put any more money into it. Got it. As for me. I'm going water ballooning with some buds. Heh, gotta get those weirdos who are camping out on University waiting for that parade tomorrow. :evillol:. Enjoy!! Just such a gorgeous car. The sound, well, the I couldn't hear it long enough due to the fact that it was gone in less than a second. So no chance in defining how it sounded . speedthrill 07-04-2005, 09:47 AM hehheh, "drool.....drip..drip." awesome write up of some cool races. Once a car like the E46 M3 passes you you forget about all the rest. It's a dreamcar that looks oh so sexy. -Josh- 07-04-2005, 11:35 AM Nice death; Do those kind of races make you impatient to make your car faster like they do me? Raz_Kaz 07-04-2005, 02:12 PM Nice races. It's always fun to just race anything even though you know you'd get raped just for the thrills. I almost had a race with a newer silver viper...stupid traffic. caviman69 07-04-2005, 02:21 PM nice race man, I love the look and power of those m3s. CivRacer95 07-04-2005, 04:24 PM Nice death; Do those kind of races make you impatient to make your car faster like they do me? Very much so. Every time I lose a race it just makes me more impatient. All I can think to myself if "The H22 will be in in just a few months". I can't wait until I do get it. King Of Crunk 07-05-2005, 02:24 PM anybody else find it interesting that the venus razor vibrates?? and the mens razors send sonic pulses or whatever to raise the whisker or whatever....."i REALLLLLLLY like my venus vibrance"....sheesh... bad360rt 07-05-2005, 04:41 PM Nice runs! E46 M3's are freakin hot! I've only raced one, it was that orangish color (don't know what it's called), it wasn't too pretty for him, but it was fun anyway  CassiesMan 07-05-2005, 04:56 PM I just got to drive an E46 ///M....still in euphoria, will talk about it later...soooooooo veeeeerrrrrry hooooooooot. Hell, just being around one is joyful enough for me. Some day, when I hit the lotto, I'll be me one. Along with all my fellow NA crew members :iceslolan CassiesMan 07-06-2005, 12:00 AM Well, its what happens when you spend an entire day at the Bimmer dealership while they are working on your car, and you just stare at the Carbon Black with RS-GT wheels and SMG one for an hour and a half... Igovert500 07-06-2005, 04:05 AM Nice runs. Good story. george536 07-06-2005, 04:32 AM When i was at the "the races", on the sidelines just watching. an M3 badly wanted to race me for some reason (must be the front mount;) ) but i said no, partly bacause my car had boost leaks, and i had slight fear of losing. when you put alot of work into your car and still get beat you get more temptation to make your car faster, and i just dont have the moneyflow anymore. lol but as i think about it more and more i should just gone at it, it was a pretty cold night, and my car was loving the cold air that night :) drftk1d 07-06-2005, 12:28 PM cool death and an interesting fact: the car in the gillete mach 3 commecial is a jza80 Supra, lol. BlackGT2000 07-06-2005, 03:33 PM jza80 Supra? Don't know much about supras, is that the motor casting or something? TatII 07-06-2005, 07:01 PM jza80 is the chassis designation for the mark IV supra a.k.a supra TT. its funny that they did that, they could've used a M3 or something. CivRacer95 07-06-2005, 07:16 PM I think if they should have used an M3. It just would have been more sex appealing to me . BlackGT2000 07-06-2005, 08:29 PM Thanks TAT drftk1d 07-08-2005, 11:00 AM jza80 is the chassis designation for the mark IV supra a.k.a supra TT. its funny that they did that, they could've used a M3 or something. there were twin turbo mkIII's... street_racer_00 07-09-2005, 02:19 AM Those diesel trucks are sometimes fun to play with, because you never know what kind of crap they have done to them nowadays. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
