ok guys me and a friend r building a KA-T. And i was wondering if u guys could give me a estimate on how much power i would be putting down at 12 psi. I would go to a dyno but it 3.5 hrs away.

IAP manifold
Phat-KAT GT-35 turbo, down pipe and dumb tube, fuel rail
HKS SSQV BOV
Tial 38mm WG
Aeromotive fuel regulator -6AN inlet/outlet
Walbro 255 fuel pump
RC enginering 720cc injectors
91 cam swap "maybe"
emissions off the intake manifold
extemepsi.com 600hp intercooler
ACT stage 2 clutch
Greddy profec b-spec2 boost controller
Enthalpy tuned ecu

oh yea and all this is done on a stock bottom end. And how much can the stock bottom end handle?

depends on engine condition, but 12 psi i would say have some extra cash saved so you can have the safety cution of when your pistons go bad. Why get the gt35 though? The gt32 sounds like a better choice for you. If thats all the stuff you plan on doing. But the stock bottom end has been shown ot handle 400whp, but keep in mind that wasnt daily driven and doesnt mean that every ka will survive that amount. At the very least i would atleast get some pistons and what not.

No there will be alot more stuff added on in the furture. Just right now i gotta save up again for the bottem end. I just don't wanna boost to much and blow my motor u know. So mayb i keep it at 9-10 psi's mayb. I actually plan makin this car a high hp beast thats why i went with the GT35.

i'm sure you can hit 300hp easy with that setup.. but i'd keep it around that if you're going to be driving it daily... then up the boost when you get new pistons and rods and such.. maybe invest in Emanage.. or better yet, AEM EMS.. mmm

Do yourself a favor and rebuild the motor with atleast pistons, I wouldn't build a KA-T without rods and pistons myself.

The phatka-t DP and WG dump tube won't work with the IAP manifold. Those pieces were meant to be used with their manifold. The IAP mani is top mount while the PK is bottom mount...

The KA rods are forged and rather strong, you don't need new rods unles you want a dyno queen.

Yea haha I found that out when I ordered my turbo. So now the muffler stop is gonna custom make a DP for me.

Im getting my KA built to 400hp daily driver, by a guy i know for $3500. Hes nasty with it, he has a 400+hp SR and a 600+ hp KA Turbo but im going to run it at 350hp on a daily basis. But i want be able to run 400hp no problem every once in a while, so thats why im having him built it to 400 daily. he knows too much about these motors for his own good, its amazing.
