Did you even finish grade school? What the fuck is "explamitry"?

There is no "better" year, but here are the major differences. 89-94 had pop ups lights, 95-96 had a complete makeover done to it, 97-98 was like 95-96, but with different lights. The 89-90 had a single cam engine, 91-98 had a more powerful dual cam engine.

what are standerd modifacations should i make on it?

Depends what you want to do, if you want better handling, try coilovers, or a spring/shock combo, if you want more power, get a turbo kit, if you are tight on funds, try intake and exhaust, but don't expect much.

how much do they usely go for?

Stock, I've seen them range from 100$ to 20,000$ so it's really a wide ass range. Look around and get an idea of what a perticular year/condition goes for before buying one.

is it a good car?

Yes.

There are none, body kits don't exist, forget about them now, never use those words again.

How much are the engen mods usley go for?

What do you mean by engine mods? Exhaust is like 500-1000$, intake is 20-400$, turbo kit start around 1500$, I guess.
