k24 motor in a 1997 civiclazyboi87 07-01-2005, 08:19 PM hey people i just wanna know i got money to get a k-series motor n i know that a k20 motor can go into a civic wit no problems but i been looking more into it and i want to know if i can swap instead into a k24 motor into a 97 civic. if possible since k series would their be problems meanin like no air conditioning or it wont fit ..... and etc. exman98 07-02-2005, 11:52 AM yes it will fit. you should be able to get ari conditining but not powersteering. I think i read somewere on this forum that it set to high. also if i am not wrong a k24 and k20 swap should be nearly identical. ShlemJDM 07-06-2005, 06:04 PM No thiey Already made kits for P/s and A/c For K series so yes you will have a/c and p/c (if you buy a kit) and fast as hell car. exman98 07-06-2005, 06:17 PM I had heard the only way to fit the power stearing in was to cut a hole in the hood. i have not heard anything about a "kit" ShlemJDM 07-06-2005, 07:31 PM http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2549&highlight=p%2Fs click here and see lazyboi87 07-07-2005, 03:34 PM so u basically saying that if i put a k24 inside a 97 coupe civic that the airconditioing will work just not power steering(which i dont have anyways) but basically you are saying that it will work and the swap will convert and work wit no problems??? :naughty: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
