I wanted a Tahoe with a bed so I bought an 05 Z71 crew, and I couldn't be happier. I really don't want to do any performance mods but with the wealth of info I'm seeing here, I'll probably cave. Anyway, I'll be pulling my 17' aluminum Bass Tracker from central Illinois to NW Wisconsin at the first of August. My truck only will only have 800 or so miles on it by then, and I was wondering if the added load of a boat and supplies will put a strain on the new motor/tranny? I'll be doin' 65-70mph most of the way in 2WD. thanx.

You'll be fine, not enough weight to worry about.
