Condensation on manifold

I was under the hood with the engine running (and a/c on) yesterday checkiing the trans. fluid and couldn't believe what I saw.

There's a little aluminum tube coming out of the firewall that dumps condensation right onto where the exhaust manifold bolts to the rest of the exhaust system.

I couldn't believe it. My truck is 2 years old, and it looks like 5 years of corrosion have built up there. I don't know if another piece of down tube fell off of there or not. I'll do something to fix it this weekend.

If you have a Taco or a 4 Runner (mine has the 3.4l V6) you should check it out. It's right by the trans. dipstick. Make sure your turck is running with the a/c on. You won't believe how much water comes out of there.

Add on a piece of rubber hose to where you want it to drain to. Tie it with a plastic tie if you need to.
