My 92 F150 wiper delay does not work. The two speeds low and high do work, but thats all. When you push the washer button it does wash, however, you have to turn off the ignition to turn the wipers off. I am not sure how reliable this is, but I was told it was probably the wiper module. Would this be aka: "Intermittent wiper relay"? If so where would that be located? The turn signal arm/switch has been replaced, but the problem still exists. Martin

I belive the part that your looking for is called the wiper interval relay, and it is located, on the lower left side of the insterment panel. Remove rear window defogger switch assembley ( if equipped) to gain access to right govenor retaining screw. Unplug harness connector from govenor.
Remove govenor retaining screws. Installation....reverse procedure.

Will any Ford 30 amp relay work or does it need to be a specific relay?

OK, I have a wiper relay, under the dash is a cast aluminum plate making it impossible to get behind the instrument panel from below. The dash bezel is all plastic so I dont want to put too much pressure on it. Can anyone tell me how to access the back of the instrument panel? Thanks.
