Hello all,

For a while my car (1996 s14 SE OBDII) hasn’t been starting. I would go out for a short drive, park my car, turn it off for a few minutes, and when I come back it won’t turn on. A few things I notice is a relay noise from the driver side fuse block. Second When I turn my key all the way just before the starter kicks I hear a noise from the intake manifold as if there is a relay ticking. I inspected and check back with the FSM and it come out to be the EGRC solenoid Valve.

There’s a wire that come out of the engine harness that connects to the EGRC. When I disconnect the EGRC it stops making the noise. Can any one please give me some light on this?

this happend on my friends del sol. you have to replace the selenoid.
