i say dont go for hp mods first off, suspension #1 for sure. but there are cold air intakes, headers, exhaust available, those are good starts.

to get you started looking...

Why don't you want an SR20DET?

TatII

cause he already has a fast car, and he wants something thats more reliable and cheap but still fun to drive. a turbo 240 will most likely not impress him anyways.

hey thanks bros for the info, and for the why not sr20 motor, well i would cosidered it in a future right now i just want to drift, drag, drive it like crazy :screwy:, and want to get more than 400hp on the stealth and parts for that car are pretty pretty expensive :smooch:, but maybe in a near future i will put a SR20DET or a turbo kit on the KA24DE engine also that white 95 240sx is RAD:iceslolan!!!!!!!!!

dont buy I/H/E, just buy exhaust and save for more suspension mods...I/h are a waste for the small gains that you get with the high cost. Unless you are like Gt500 who got his header and intake for dirt cheap...

orestes

yeah headers arent really worth it but i think intake is. just make one if you want.

TatII

yeah i wouldn't bother with a chip or headers for the car if your planning to go turbo. and thanks for the compliment :sunglasse

1) Puck Clutch
2) KAAZ LSD
3) some sort of stiff springs.
4) Various Attention getting devices (neon, Body Kits, - Offset Wheels)

As for tuning the KA for now, I would understand this man's need for the Kaaz LSD or you could go with a Cusco or any type really, you could even cut in a used one from an R32 in....that might be slightly cheaper, if you can find it.

I understand springs if you aren't in the mood to spend on coilovers, even though, if you are keeping the car, you might as well just buy coilovers. Dampers obvioulsy won't change with the engine and perform ten times better.

BUT PLEASE, I don't understand whyyyy this man wants neon and body kits. If you are going to be cutting around turns, there is no need to buy neon and body kits. It's better to be invisible to the cops rather than flying around turns with stupid green lights underneath your car. If you were to buy rims then that's fine, but even the stock rims will do well with some Falken Azenis or Hankook RS-2's wrapped around them.

I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with the car. Just wait till it rains, drifiting is even more fun cause it's pretty light on the mechanicals.

Hey new guys, in case you haven't realized it from the rest of the other guys commenting on it, R.W.240 loves anything that is "JDM tyte", likes Alteezas, and Supra Spoilers on non-Supra cars especially the 240.

hey i didnt see anything about a super duper ricer body kit, mayb ehe wanted to do a simple, unstated body kit just to give the car a bit of different look, doesnt have to be some huge huge ricer kit, just something nice and simple

6g72tt
06-29-2005, 11:50 PM
no no ricer kit just the bumper R33 style bumper thats all and for the paint i want to pain the car white (the car is burgundy color right now) so i dont like it that way and want to spent some in the coilovers and get some silvia emblems for it or get the nismo 270 R bodykit from a friend who lives in japan

orestes
06-30-2005, 12:12 AM

whatever you guys, how are altezza lights skyline boddy parts, and 100 stickers "rice"? as far as silvia emblems i dont know about that even though i may get the silvia trunk key but its because mine fell out and ordering that is probably cheaper then going to nissan and getting one. or i may just keep the peice of tape over the hole and never get into my trunk again

240SXSlideStar

Knockoff 270R kit = rice
Authentic 270R kit = hot

orestes
06-30-2005, 08:46 PM
i dunno an r33 bumper is not like super rice but its getting there. maybe too harsh to call it rice maybe just call it a bad choice. and stuff like Silvia floormats, steering wheel, seats that have "Silvia" embroidered on them are definitely not rice, however, just having the emblems on the outside is rice i think.

Chuki_breath
06-30-2005, 08:56 PM
na i dont think the emblems are rice at all......that is if you put them on a 240, and not a mustang whahahhahaahahha (iv seen gtr badges on a mustang, yes they were skyline one's not the mustang ones).

The trunk key is a nice touch on coupes, but pretty expensive for a key and a lock.

I like JDM emblems, but only on the right car.
