bought a 95 civic ex 5-speed with d16z and s20 trans it is alright but want to pull 13's, so i figure shorter gear ratios and n2o will be the best bang for my buck any help

build a turbo setup for it and you'll be able to dip into the high 13's if your a good driver.

Stock a d16z6 runs a 16.1, so to get it to run 13s a turbo would be your best bet. I would recomend building the motor, or at least having some kind of engine management before boosting. A TD05 turbo from a DSM would get you in the 13 range and you can get a complete kit for like $400. A better but pricer option would be a new turbo kit. How much do you want to spend is really what it comes down to.
