Hey people. I have been enquiring into porting and polishing. I have been told I can gain 100hp by having the following done:

- Aggressive blending of sharp edges in the combustion chamber
- Increase the flow cone more quickly to increase total flow
- 3 angle valve job
- Aggressive port work on intakes and exhaust
- Open up ports below valves
- More blending of combustion chambers to establish faster flow around valves
- Increase exhaust flow to 105%

However, I need a larger throttle body, header, air intake, mid range CAM's. Can anybody direct me towards any that will go well with this setup?

Will the porting and polishing be able to be carried out with a turbo manifold instead of a header, as I want to get the turbo installed first? I have been told that I require a header, no mention of turbo manifold. Can it be done?

You're not going to get 100hp from that work, not even close. And all that work isn't going to give you anything (might even lose hp), unless you've got parts to push that air in and out. With the header/turbo manifold thing...are you talking about port match? But either way, people will throw out either header or turbo manifold, because some people go all motor and others go turbo; don't let it throw you off. Since you plan to go turbo, forget anyone mentioned the header at all; you want a turbo manifold. Although, some people buy HF, VX, or '92-'95 CX stock exhaust manifolds, take off the cat and put on an adapter plate to fit a turbo. This is because the design of them allows it to work as a turbo manifold for a D-series engine. But if you're going to do all that engine work, forget about those manifolds and get a well made turbo manifold (they will flow better). Also forget about the intake, since you won't need one for a turbo setup. And there is such thing as too much air flow, don't go over board.
