00' radio

is it possible to pull out the CD player thats in an 00' alero, its the older style cd player. and replace it with the cool ones that say what song ur listening to and stuff thats in the 03's and 04's that ive seen? I dont really like the overall look of aftermarket CD players so im just wondering.
