New best & new best mph

Well, still can't get any traction LOL But managed to knock .03 off my best ET :p and upped my mph considerably. Gonna go try again Thursday, if I can get back into the 1.6's I should be doing pretty good. Still needs a bigger stall tho, and some more tuning with smaller injectors (way rich on the lowend and midrange).

Pretty nice.

1.74 60' in a true street vehicle is nice. I know you said you have traction issues, but that 1.74 seems a little fast for a 4.96 330 ET. I think you'd have 4.80s in ya (and that'd put ya down even further on the other end), but again, that's basing things off of where I race where everything is usually a tenth off other tracks.

Nice runs though! I bet you shocked the hell out of whoever you raced, lol.

Well, my tune is a lil off right now, running very rich down low and in the midrange, then it leans out to about 11.5 under full boost. So once I can lean it out down low I'll pick up some more power there. Plus, once I get the new slicks figured out (only have 8 runs on them) I should be pulling consistent 1.6's.

Thanks! Yeah, it definitely shocks people. I've got a vanity plate on order, SLO TRUK

Lol. You just need more runs then, lol. Once you get your air pressure lined out, then you'll hook up better. Just try to do everythign the same. Do the burnout the same and for teh same amount of time and thigns like that.

Also, run the lowest amount of air pressure you can and still drive the truck on top end. IF you get too low, then it'll start to weave on ya.

Well, I don't feel like starting another thread, but I got another new best last night, and set a record. I'm now the first 5.9 R/T to break into the 120's :grinyes: (there's only two other R/T's that have gone 120+, but one is a 408 stroker and the other is running an R3 race block, both with blowers & juice, and then my lowly lil 360 with just the blower hehe)

Thanks, altho my hp is probably a lil higher now. Those dyno numbers are on my old setup. I haven't dyno'd the new setup yet, but I'd guess 475-480rwhp, maybe more, once I get the tune a lil better, I'll put her up on the dyno and find out

That's pretty awesome man! I bet my car probably would only do about 125 mph in the 1/4.

I see you had a big 1.66 60'. That's pretty killer! 7.45 in the 1/8th is not bad either! Even in the 1/8th I'd only be trapping about 7 or 8 mph more then you I'd say.

Thanks! I'm really happy so far. I know she's got more in her too. She'll definitely see low 11's this year, and with the new cam and stall, who knows, maybe even a 10 if the stars are aligned properly
