1996 Cavalier OverheatingMom2one 06-20-2005, 12:53 PM My 1996 Cavalier keeps overheating. We have changed the water pump, the thermostat, flushed the radiator and it still goes to the red zone in minutes. Any ideas?? Please help! robzone0911 06-20-2005, 02:05 PM Start your engine cold, or below 195 and wait for the temp to climb a little bit above that. Your radiator fan should come on when the temp is above 195.
