my friend has a 99 si-g and he says it has a sohc non v-tec. what site can he go to to find out what engine it should have. he thinks it should have had a dohc v-tec in it. he wants to make sure to didnt pay to much for an si with the wrong motor. he payed 10 g canadian for it.

His car should have a DOHC b16a1 VTEC engine in it. Unless Canadian models are that much different :dunno:

ya he thinks it shoulda had a vtec as well, he was wonderin if he got ripped off for paying 10 grand for a non vtec si, maybe the motor was swapped.
