are they better than regular cut outs, ive asked different people about it ive heard good and bad things. Good - you can be loud or quiet whenever you want. Bad - i heard that it gets jammed and doesn't work? any replies about this would be greatly appreciated b/c i am contemplating getting one.

i want to get them as well, i kow a few people on hee have them. i heard the same things about them, you can controll how loud u want it and also how they can jam up.
