I went to a vw dealership to have my low beam light bulb replaced. Those guys tried to rip me off. They told my that the light bulb would cost me 17.00 dollars and the labor would cost me 25.00 dollar can you believe these guys. Please if any one could tell my how to replace my own low beam light bulb I would really appreicate it

Thanks

I went through the same ordeal because I replaced the bulb myself and both bulbs went out. I figured it was my fault and my wife bitched at me so we ended up paying out the ass for new bulbs...

How about this one? I can't even change the oil in my wife's car because the oil pan bolt was air wrenched on at the dealership. I should go there with a breaker bar and change the oil without a catch pan in their nice pretty parking lot...

Its a bummer that not all vw dealers are the same. I hear soo many dealers are crappy and some are good...

bulbs are covered 4yr 50k 1st owner 99-04.

the reason it costs so much is because it would take idiots like you all day to replace a bulb and you are paying someone to get it done in a timely manner. you can't even figure out something as simple as replacing a bulb so you have to ask everyone else. wouldn't it be easier to just pay someone else?

$10-36 per set; Autozone; take out rubber seal there are two spring clips that push together and out. pull the bulb out and replace it with new one (don't touch the glass with fingers-it will shorten the life of bulb).
