If the car isn't properly aligned will it still show signs of torque steer when accelerating?

For that matter should our car ever show signs of torque steer?

I know that before I got my alignment fixed (for the 3rd time since I bought the car) it always pulled to one side during acceleration. It definately sucked.

As for whether or not it ever SHOULD pull, I don't know. All I know is that after this alignment it is accellerating far more cleanly, and it isn't pulling at all (and I beat the Hell outta my car on acceleration, aka. letting the RPM's ride up while I leave the clutch in :o )

My car really never had a problem with torque steer, maybe when the pavement was wet though. I put on a strut tower bar and it seemed to straighten out the ride.

Hmm, I'll look into it.

well you shouldnt show signs of torque steer unless your car is misaligned because you have a Limited Slip Differential.

Iv'e paid $59.99 at SEARS. Hey check your control arms lower ball joint I have a 95 G20 and I noticed that I was wearing out my front tires on the inside tread (uneven wear) and my alighnments didn't last long. If you have 100,000/miles on your car, I'd check the ball joints their probably worn out.
