Would you pinstripe a new Grand Cherokee?tinker1121 06-09-2005, 04:30 PM Shopping for one and when telling the salesman I loved the interior but outside plain he suggested a black and white pinstripe on the Silver Metallic. Would you do it? In those colors or any suggestions. porscheguy9999 06-09-2005, 05:48 PM Hell yeah. But I would personally go with a black paint/ white pinstripe combo. Take it from an already classy looking exterior to an even classier looking exterior. Or using a clothing example, a normal black suit is good looking, but a pinstriped black suit looks even better. Then all you need is some fine looking, color matching "shoes". Those "shoes" could be 20" black finish rims. And a suit isnt complete without a tie. A dark gold grille insert could do the job. Ok, so that last part is kind of out there. But it sure would look cool. Anyways, I think pinstriping a 2005 GC could look sick. As long as its a tasteful color such as: Black, Deep Beryl Green, Midnight Blue, or Dark Khaki (that is the color of my 05' GC, and I think it would work with white pinstriping). Audiobahn77 06-09-2005, 06:30 PM I wouldn't, but that's just me. Now if you were going to have a decorative pinstripe job done, then I would do it. But just the straight lines from front to back......NOPE. I wish I could take mine off without messing up the paint. RunMonkeyRun 06-10-2005, 05:10 PM I am with audiobahn77 on this one. tech_ed 06-10-2005, 05:29 PM Remember, the "U" in "SUV" stands for "utility". Why would you want to "pimp" a Jeep? It doesn't make sense...I laugh my a$$ off whenever I see a low rider Cherokee with wheels that stick 7 inches outside the wheel wells...What's the point? It reminds me of my neighbor who had a 20 foot dumpster sitting out in his driveway for 2 years...each christmas it was decorated with x-mas lights...how ghetto is that?
