Yeah, same with me. I'd be WAY to uncomfortable to start my car and have it running while I wasn't in it...I dunno, I just wouldn't like it. It would make me nervous.... :rolleyes: Plus, I don't really see anything benificial from having it.

as if i haven't said it enough already .. being from back east.. i see good reason for it.. for instance when ya get out at night put the heat on full blast... so the next morning when you get up and it's 15 below zero and there's 4ft of snow on the ground at least you can melt the car a little instead of freezin...

Oh and another reason not to get remote start is if you leave your car in gear when its parked. Nothing like hitting a button and have your car jump forward and through the wall in the garage.

Seriously, I've only been involved in a few 5mph bumper taps. My car won't start unless I have the clutch pushed to the floor so I can't start it in gear.
