What is the stock battery for a 2000 Rodeo? I'm trying to figure out if I have the original battery still in the Rodeo - I bought it used. Battery in it is an AC Delco Freedom.

Not sure really what comes stock because some dealerships with switch around. I know when my father bought his '98 Passport it came with Interstate. Most places if the car is used will replace the battery when it comes in from previous owner. Atleast thats what they do where i work.

Yup, that is what they come with (my 2000 did).

My 97 Rodeo came with an AC Delco (IIRC), lasted 1 year after purchasing the truck in March 98.

Put in an Interstate battery, lasted 5-5 1/2 yrs. Put in another Interstate battery that's a little bigger - hope to get 5yrs out of it.

Yep. An AC Delco freedom came with our 2002. Still in there! I remember is was deader that a door-nail when we bought the rodeo with 3 miles on the ticker. She sat with a pile of other rodayos for about 3-4mo. w/out ever being started! The green 'eye' still looks good, but we've only got about 34Kmi on'er. She sits in the garage alot these days.

I've been wondering this myself. I got an AC Delco in my 99 Rodeo as well. I am not the original owner, but I guess this is the original battery. Maybe it is time to replace it.

My 2001 Rodeo came with a Delphi 600 cca maintenance-free battery. Still showing "green eye" but I am thinking of changing it before the winter.
