View Full Version : i wanna sporty car, non-honda, and kinda roomy i wanna sporty car, non-honda, and kinda roomy jaxle 04-16-2002, 08:44 PM THE4TH 04-20-2002, 02:56 AM why rwd? jaxle 04-21-2002, 02:11 PM i wanna try sum drifting and perhaps get into rally THE4TH 04-23-2002, 12:52 PM the 240 would be your best choice.. but if you need something with more room... i can't help ya... the only ones i would take are either too big or have fwd.... sorry man BlueDestiny 07-11-2002, 10:15 AM Id'e say the WRX. Its diffenently not drifting material but it does have a roomy backseat and its AWD. Im sure its an good choice for a rally car to but I really don't know much about rally. If you decide drifting isnt your thing than go for it. higgimonster 07-11-2002, 10:37 AM an old rx7 would be perfect. many people raly them and they definetly have the torque for drifting. and there are plenty of parts available forthem. another would be an older bmw 2000 (i think that is what it is called). you willbe very hard pressed to find a newer car with rwd and 4 doors. (oh yeah, the rx7s are 2+2s) legacyturbo 07-11-2002, 01:00 PM Well I have a 91' Subaru Legacy Turbo, which is must sportier than a Honda has plenty of room and is AWD. The only problem is that they are kinda rare, but I've seen plenty for sale lately theyre relatively cheap about $4k and with an extra few hundred bucks you can get yourself an intercooler and boost controller/gauge. Even without those though it has plenty of power and loads of low end torque, 180 ft/lb @ 2600. This is Subaru's old rally car so it's good for that and is ok for drifting. THE4TH 07-11-2002, 02:02 PM if you wanna blow the money you can pick up a lexus is300.. rwd, and plenty of room i'm 6'0" and i can put the driver seat all the way back and then sit behind it and have enough room which is nice in a little car.. and it's got 215hp.. and it drives nice, now that they have a stick available.. so if you've got crazy $$$ then drift away.. just turn the traction control off.. legacyturbo 07-11-2002, 03:57 PM It would be kinda scary drifting such an expensive car though. THE4TH 07-19-2002, 04:29 AM if you don't mind rapin the tires.. and you have some safe room to work with it'll be ok .... otherwise try and old audi.. like i used.. they are fun to toss around.. and cheap too...
