help!!!... lsd problem

k... well, last week i put on a viscous lsd on my 89' 240sx, and at first everything was turning out perfect (driftable). So last night i decided to do some donuts but the rear wasn't able to swing, so i checked to see if both of the tires are spinning the same direction and it turns out that my viscous lsd turned into an open differential. so my question is, what might have caused this to happen and how can i get it fixed? thanks

well i just got the drift bible, and stated watching it last night. According to the drift king, vlsd's arent that good for drifting or doughnuts, whats up with that, did we get our vlsd for nothing?

there was a demo of a worn lsd that needed an overhaul, and he said it acted like a vlsd, and the guy was doing gouhnuts and couldnt swing the rear.

anyways yes you can see in the drift bible the vlsd isnt as good, but shit you can get one for like 200 as opposed to 900+ so its worth it for most average joes.

yea that song is good. No the day after never sucks for me?? But i never get hung over either....never. And yes, your fluid is prolly just done for. I would check with the dealer like someone mentioned and see if its worth it to have them do it, or you can try it yourself.

5 and a half? Damn. Either those were some horrible pills, or you have a really high tolerance. blow half, and pop 1, and im good for the fucking night.

bro 5 and a half....not good. and there was tons of blunts and tons of hooka smoke from like 8pm to 7am. but yeah tolerance is some of it, but it still had me good for most of the night once the sun came up though it kinda sucked. overall... 3 is much better

It uses the oil to lock up, after a while, the oil breaks down and isn't as good for locking up the diff.

If your as into doing stupid powerslides and doughnuts as you come off as you should take the hit and weld your spider gears alot of people hate on welded spiders. but honestly - whats the worst that could happen on 195/15 tires

im kinda tempted to weld the spider gears maybe a month or two before i get a new diff, jsut to fuck around with it. and to get some welding experience. but then you make noise around every corner so not that great if cops are around...
