pr4BiGwiLLswiLLy 06-04-2005, 07:05 PM will a pr4 ecu on a non vtec single cam give any more performance? i heard on he 4h gens they do cause the fuel maps n the redline r diffrent... BiGwiLLswiLLy 06-09-2005, 10:06 PM no takers on this one? CivicSpoon 06-09-2005, 10:11 PM I think it'd be similar to buying one of those cheap e-bay chips. It will just give you more fuel (worse gas mileage), and raising the rev limiter will just put more stress on the engine. The rev limiter is there for a reason, obviously so you don't over rev it but also because you don't make power with a stock engine past it. Just use the stock ECU, there's no reason to change it. But you may get a few extra hp from it, but nothing you'd be able to feel. BiGwiLLswiLLy 06-20-2005, 06:51 PM its not a stock engine CivicSpoon 06-20-2005, 11:14 PM Well how non-stock is it? Higher compression, cams, just bolt-ons? BiGwiLLswiLLy 06-21-2005, 11:31 PM has a cam the head is ported and polished, raised compression ratio and it has the usual bolt ons.... BiGwiLLswiLLy 06-24-2005, 05:38 PM and also the fuel pressure regulator...but im jus tired of the car fuel cuttin at 115mph... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
