I searched and found another thread from over a year ago about a 97 with this problem but it didn't come to resolution. Our 95 has about 150k miles on it and has been very well maintained. We just put 4 new tires on it and noticed two things, the front wheels would pull when brakes applied and steering wheel shimmies at speed. The shimmy is bad enough to cause the CD player to skip. We took it to a tire dealer and had an alignment done. Didn't help. Took it tour local mechanic (who is honest and very good) and he said it was the calipers. Replaced the calipers, took care of pulling during braking. Had all 4 tires balanced again and rotated. Steering wheel still shimmies. Any suggestions? in the older thread someone recommended that the tires be balanced on a specific type of balancing equipment.

Maybe it's time for some new shocks.
