just wondering what that little plastic black box is, to the left of the power steering fluid, below the brake fluid resivor. what is it? what does it do? also, ive heard of some people taking that thig off. why? :confused:

its the AIV, look it up

ok so the AIV connects to the stock intake through a hose, i just installed an intake about a month ago, and i used a breather to plug the AIV (where the hose connects to the intake). so now im wondering if anyone here knows how to remove the AIV. also would it be better off if i left the AIV there?
