my cousin has a 2004 accord ex w/o nav. the radio works and everything but theres no sound comin out of the speakers. this is the second time this has happened. has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? thanks

What kind of radio is in there? Stock or after market? If it's stock, is it BOSE?

its a stock radio. i dunno if any of the 04 accords cam with bose systems did they? if they did i dont think hers is a bose. thanks

Well...if there's no sound, the first thing I'd do is pull out the aftermarket radio and have it bench tested to make sure it works okay. If it does, then check all the car's speaker wires to make sure that the speakers arent grounded out. It's possible that either one of the speakers' voice coils is bad, and that's causing the whole system to shut down, or that a speaker wire is touching metal, therefore grounding the system out and causing it to shut down.
