Hello -- Some people are listing new control arms -- with ball joints -- on ebay for $58. I think I know the answer, but am I crazy to buy and install them? Anyone gone this route?

I have an '85 318 with less than 125,000 miles. While it's in great shape with relatively low miles for its age, it is 20 years old. Would love to buy only OEM, but money is an issue.

Thanks in advance for any advice/opinion.

Maybe, maybe not . . . the control arms for an E36 is only about $80-$90 each, with ball joints preinstalled.

The site is vinesauto.com. They sound like good guys. I went ahead and ordered left and right strut housings and control arms. I'll post again when they arrive.
