My dad just bought a 96 SE and the radio works like crap. Is it possible to take a radio from a 92 SE and put it in the 96? The buttons are placed different and theyre both cassette

you can but it wont fit exactly right in the hole, also if you have the radio controls on the steering wheel they will not work with the radio from a 92, i put a 97 stereo in my 92 and it worked great, hopes this helps!
