Can you tell what springs are installed on a car by looking at them?

My CRX has a 2" drop according to the previous owner, but he doesn't know anything about the suspension/what parts were used. From what I saw, my car has gr-2 shocks in the front (not sure about the back). The springs are what is bothering me. I looked at them today, but all I can tell is that they are black, but there isn't any writing on them. Do you think they are some cheapo brand, or even worse stock springs that were cut?

If they are crap springs, what do you think about Neuspeed Sports?

You can tell if they are cut or not by looking at the ends ... If there is no writing it is hard to tell as most companies would put their logo on their products ... Sorry don't know what they are, maybe some pics would help ...

I finally took some pics. If you can't tell, I cleaned some of the parts....

Usually manufacturers use a certain color for their springs. Are those springs black or dark green?
