Both on the distributor cap and connected properly to the spark plugs. If they are loose, then that would be the cause of your mis-fire. So, just make sure they are on tightly and secure. nolifeeffect666 05-25-2005, 07:24 AM i checked that they were on tight nolifeeffect666 05-25-2005, 07:26 AM the mis fire only happens like 15 seconds from eachother CivRacer95 05-25-2005, 10:41 AM Check your distributor then. Or make sure your spark plugs are tightened as well, but I'm sure you may have done that as well. Although, you may have to gap your spark plugs. I don't know though. Doesn't sound like a problem I'm too familiar with. nolifeeffect666 05-25-2005, 11:15 AM wold a spark plug bein loose be the prob Greenblurr93 05-25-2005, 01:16 PM what kind of plugs did you buy?? they may not be gapped right. nolifeeffect666 05-25-2005, 04:27 PM no i gaped them 2 4oseconds just like autozone said they meed 2 be gaped 2 nolifeeffect666 05-25-2005, 04:30 PM im gonna see if a plug is loose or smothing nolifeeffect666 05-25-2005, 04:32 PM do you happen the know the mpg on the 1.5 leiter 4 cylnder cuz im only getting 200 2 a tank r/n CivRacer95 05-25-2005, 04:32 PM no i gaped them 2 4oseconds just like autozone said they meed 2 be gaped 2 As long as they are gapped properly that shouldn't cause too much of a problem if there weren't. If you have tightened down your spark plugs, and you made sure your plug wires are hooked properly, then you should check with your distributor next. Just out of curiousity, did you hook up your plugs and wires exactly the same way you took them off or did you just throw them back on without matching them back to order? If I remember correctly, you have to put everything back in order properly. I don't know and I'm not quite sure about that either. nolifeeffect666 05-25-2005, 04:40 PM yes i did im bout to check and see if a plug is loose wudini 05-26-2005, 02:18 PM i thought the EX coupe only came out in 94-95 :eek7: GScivic7 05-26-2005, 02:54 PM EX coupes have been available since 92 throughout all the years.
