I have noticed that the new Dist Cap and rotor are burning at the contact points inside and is not getting enought power, I just installed this cap and rotor about 2 weeks ago, I sanded the contacts and it runs better. What could be doing this?

thanks

Ira

I am not sure if it a Wells or not, I got it from advance auto parts and I do know about Wells being crap I ran into some bad E modules once and they were wells

could be moisture in the cap.. take it off, spray it with ether, let it dry, than put it back on..

Might work..
