hmm should i move?krooky1116 05-23-2005, 01:00 PM Hey guys, i just moved to Las Vegas to go to college out here, so I don't really know anyone. In other words, nothing is really holding me here (lol other than college in the fall.) I want a Skyline soo bad, and knowing that 89's are legal in Canada now..i might consider trying to transfer to college there in a year or so. Also i hear that the girls are a lot hotter. lol so can anyone give me some info or websites about some Canadian cities and the tuner scene up there? thanks alot Nissan-Fan 05-23-2005, 08:20 PM www.importconcern.ca www.beyond.ca The winters are hell The hotter girls are just a myth (but we do have our fair share) Anything 15 years or older is legal. But really man, moving to another country to own a car? its not worth it. shawn_carter69 05-30-2005, 06:51 PM yeah so by the time you get here 91's will be legal possibly 92's. but seriously, move here, from vegas? for a car? i mean i luv skylines but come on, i'm pretty sure ive seen some legalized r32's around the states for what one would cost u up here. well not after exchange... Escort_Service 06-03-2005, 03:01 PM Say where you are. Rust sucks. Also if you did manage to find a car you can only drive it for half the year. The hot chick thing is true thoguh. Dont believe anybody else. If there are not a lot of hot chicks where you are your in the wrong area! shawn_carter69 06-06-2005, 03:15 PM you know rust isnt that bad where i am. just move to BC it isnt that harsh here. we had like a foot of snow all laast winter, that didnt show up til feb. i mean i fyou want to keep any car for a long time, do you really want to be driving it all the time anyway and loading up the miles? Escort_Service 06-06-2005, 03:19 PM Yeah I live in Onatrio. Its not too bad here but the city loves its salt in the winter. And its true I wont be driving everyday, its just the tought of owning a car like this and not being able to drive it year round. Although I have to believe that it would be good in snow. I wont be the one to find out. shawn_carter69 06-06-2005, 03:25 PM um yeah smow, 300hp i dunno even with the altessa, kinda sketchy Escort_Service 06-06-2005, 03:31 PM I was thinking more of the all wheel drive system! I leased a Lancer for the past two years, thus where my need for speed came from. shawn_carter69 06-06-2005, 06:39 PM yeah thats what i meant - altessa - but i mean even with the altessa awd unless u were driving an evo you cant even begin to compare the power of an evo to skyline (im assuming gtr) Escort_Service 06-06-2005, 08:26 PM you had better check your numbers shawn_carter69 they are both about the same for 0-60 and 1/4 mile time. Keep in mid both are all wheel drive, weight is close too For the Skyline http://www.jbskyline.net/R32/GTR/Specs/ For Evo http://www.engine-power.com/mitsubishi/lancer_evolution_viii.html shawn_carter69 06-07-2005, 02:42 PM what i was saying if u actually read it was that unless u were talking about the evo, which means the evo could be compared to the skyline. but you just said you had leased a lancer not an evo. so maybe you should actually read what somebody says and think about what you are gonna post before you do so... Escort_Service 06-08-2005, 07:55 PM Of course I leased an Evo why would I sat thay my need for speed came from a base lancer? Oh and sorry I was confused. I thought you were talking about the ATTESA-ETS. You know the Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All - Electronic Torque Split. Not the altessa! shawn_carter69 06-09-2005, 03:22 PM fuck dude id admit when im wrong, it was a fucking typo, i was hoping u were talking about the evo but i couldn't tell sorry if i chapped your ass!! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
