im new to the civic stuff im looking at what motor to put into the 92-95 generation hatchback i was looking at the B18C or the B16b since those are proven to be somewhat easy swap i was wondering if and around how much and what would be needed to fit the K20 Type S motor from the RSX into it.

It would be a ton of work, but oh so worth it. I think Hasport might actually make mounts for it now.

yeah hasport sure does. There are other companies out there too, like hybrid-racing. You should check out hybrid-racings's site, they've got a list of everything you need for the swap.

we are currently using hybrid racing mounts and wire harness in the rally civic we built. took a 92 civic vx and swapped the rsx type s into it plus some other goodies including a k-pro. things is awesome. the car weighs under 2000lbs and has somewhere around 210whp.(confident we could get more hp with more dyno time but the shop is packed with other cars right now so the rally car can wait). the beauty of this car is, its jacked up for gravel roads and pretty much stock looking except the roll cage and of course fog lights and other little things so when someone tries to run it, they learn real fast its not an average civic.
its not an easy swap so i wouldnt recommend it unless you are experience. a b-series would be a better swap for a newb imo. either way, good luck.

would it be better to save and put in the k20 or use the amount of money the k20 swap would take and put it to a b18 and build it instead

is there also a site yall can give me for a turbo i found one but its 4000$ for 6.5 psi was the biggest i found

Try turbo-kits.com for ideas on different companies who make turbo kits. But the 6.5 psi is just a recommendation for use on a stock engine. The turbos (and components) can reach far more than just 6.5 psi (it's more of just a safe boost setting). It really depends on how much power you're looking for, what rpm the turbo reaches full boost, when it maxes out, etc. But when you're looking for more power, you'll have to start looking into a better fuel/engine management (like hondata, uberdata, aem ems...). Usually a turbo kit will come with an FMU, which is only really "reliable" for 7-8 psi; anymore than that you should consider something better (not that the FMU can't be run reliably with high boost, just harder).

As for the b18 over k20. It all depends on what you want to do. Personally, I'd get the b18c and build it over swapping in the K20.

i agree with the b over k. the k series motor is by far a greater motor in the long run (more potenial, stronger block, etc) but to do the k series at this point, its expensive and honestly is in the premature stages. while the b series is a great platform with many potenials and also tried millions of times. so there will always be many people to help.
if you have the money to develope your k20 then its honestly a sweeeeeeeeeeeeet swap but if you are looking at a little more of a budget stick to a b18c.

how complicated and how much mods and parts are needed for the b18c swap

engine, tranny, ecu, axles, mounts, wiring, shiftlinkage, '94+ integra rear mount bracket. If you do a search on google, you'll find hundreds of sites that give complete details on it. Doing a B-series swap is at least 5X easier to do than a k20 swap.

to a complete the whole swap from 93 civic si (stock motor) to b18c1 (before turbo) it took me a complete 8hrs to remove and install new motor. this is on a hoise mind you and we wernt going that fast but honestly it a very easy swap. the k20 in the 92 vx more like 20hrs total.

Well what about a H22 swap? is that harder than a b18 swap? but is it easier than the k series swap?

K's are the way, they are coming up big and getting cheaper as well.

well the k would be a bit harder to complete but it would be worth it imo. its a way light motor then even the b series plus the room for improvement in terms of power/performance is far great.
example; with the simple update of hondadata, intake and full exhasut (header back) and some tuning on a dyno we got 235whp on the civic. sounds awesome enough to me considering for you to swap the h22 you will need most of the same stuff and to get that power you would need more work to the motor.
