Hello Guys! I've got a '01 altima gxe that i purchased about 3 months ago. The car didn't come with a keyless entry remote control when i got it, so i bought one from ebay. However when i tried programming the remote control for some reason it won't work at all! I took it to the dealer and i was told that is not the remote control but rather my car!
:( the guy said that for some reason the car wouldn't flash my hazard lights twice to allow the new control to be set up with the OEM alarm. I don't know what to do and perhaps you guys might be able to help me :iceslolan Thank you for your time and help!

get in your car and lock the doors. Insert key in ignition no turns just in and out 7 times your lights should flash. once you see this you re insert the key and turn it to the acc position radio on etc. Press lock on the remote and you should see the lights flash. remove key and unlock door via switch and open and close door. press lock and your all set. If you missed the flashing lights you do not have security or its fuses and relays are bad. if you did not get a flash after you pressed lock on the remote then the remote is bad.needs batteries or you have the wrong one. This all happend to me so this is from experience not the manual.
