cat converter 2.2 4.3 swapjakezr29882 05-22-2005, 02:13 AM I am needing a new cat converter for my zr2 and seen a 2.2 cat tha almost looks identical to mine. does anyone know if the are the same lenght because everything else seems to match. also how the hell am i going to get these bolts loose there a bitch? rlith 05-22-2005, 06:06 AM Easier just to buy a Catco ($80.00 at summit) with the proper size. As you can see in these pics, the clamp actually molds itself to shape..And believe me, these puppies can crank down hard. http://www.pghconsulting.net/teal/cat1.jpg Close up of the clamp http://www.pghconsulting.net/teal/cat2.jpg jakezr29882 05-22-2005, 06:14 PM alright think i have got it all figured out found universal catco cat for 35 bucks on ebay. going to use the band clamps found those also and stick it in there still don't know about this o2 sensor behind it unpluged it to see if it turns dummy light on and it did'nt i dunno but the gut that sells the cat sells 02 bungs he calls them that i guess you just weld in so i think i will go for it.
