Looking for a sporty car for around 15k. Should be pretty fast stock, but I can take looks and comforts over speed. Body types that I like in particular are those of the BMWs from the year 2000 up, especially the M5/M3 and the 3-series. If the car is 4 door, it would be better. A manual transmition would be nice, but automatic is fine too. Young driver, under 18.

I hope this car can last me at least 7-8 years, so hopefully it can have around or under 50,000 miles on it.

go for a wrx maybe? used one, and some other choices, like mitsubishi 3000gt vr4, nissan 300zx, mazda rx7, some used bmw's for sure, just search around basically, get and older m3 i would say, but realy the list goes on and on but those are top ones that i would think of, all come in manual transmission is you like.

e30 m3. hell yes.

e36 m3 if you insist on ammenities.

I'd say the Dodge SRT-4 and the Acura RSX Type S are your best bets. The Subaru Impreza WRX *can* be found at $15k but you may need to look around/haggle. The others that were mentioned above are just as good, but are harder to find and even harder to find one in good condition for 7-8 years of daily driving.

If you are looking for an e36 m3 that was a daily driver, one can be had for $8000. For $15000, you can get an e30 or e36 m3 that has well under 100k on the odometer.
