2000 Silverado 4x4, 5.3 L (Highway Vibration)patdei8 05-19-2005, 10:36 PM Looks like I am the newest member of the Silverado Shakemup Club. My vibration starts around 50 mph and subsides around 70 mph. It seems that there is little to no vibration if I am coasting or there is no load on the power plant. When going up a hill the vibration gets worse even while maintaining the same speed. If it were a tire balance problem wouldn't you feel it regardless if there is a load on the engine? Please advise. Thanks. Pat BlenderWizard 05-19-2005, 10:59 PM I'm not sure, but if it were me, I'd get the tire balance checked first. Some places will even check it for free. stantonl 05-20-2005, 12:54 PM I have had that problem before. I had my tires balanced and it cured the problem. Just wondering what type of rim and tire setup your running. silveradoking 05-20-2005, 07:57 PM I don't have a shakerado...but I fell a terrible shaking under my feet when I drive around 180 kilometres...........Maybe I shouldn't drive that fast, but then again, what was the reason for this worthless post? busta 05-20-2005, 09:48 PM thats how my truck felt befor the tranny took a shit! silveradoking 05-20-2005, 11:07 PM please don't scare me like that.... 99redsilverado 05-21-2005, 12:22 AM thats how my truck felt befor the tranny took a shit!
