My battery is not charging and the voltmeter jumps, i just had the alternator replaced and this is the result. why isn't it charging???? any ideas?????

have you check the actual battery? if not take it out and take it to the auto part store to get it checked out

could be the belt on the alternator isnt tight enough so its not being driven enough to charge the battery. and also check water in the battery
