buy it or dont buy?mgs2006 05-18-2005, 05:18 PM Hey i was thinking about getting this 96' Breeze, same thing as a stratus. its got a 2.0L and an auto trans. it has 141,000 miles on it....what would you do? and is this engine any good. i havent driven it, but i hope its a little peppy...my alero is pretty quick so im hoping it might be a little bit like that... wafrederick 05-18-2005, 05:40 PM The 2.0 engine is a very good engine.Only problem I know is the headgasket and that is where the oil leak is most of the time.Is it in very good shape?If it is in good shape and has been maintained ,buy it mgs2006 05-18-2005, 05:46 PM I guess its been maintained the engine compartment looks clean and it has little or no rust, tinted windows, a wing on the back, i dunno if the wing is stock it looks kinda big..i dunno. vamc 05-20-2005, 03:16 PM My parents had a 97 dodge stratus with a 2.4 and was kinda fast. we had 8mm plug wires in it. Where did you see it at? Town auto? they get all their cars from spitzer auto mart in Cleveland off of w150th. All the shit that is there is junk, Trust me on this!! I tell no lies! They are pretty quick.
