Hi again I was just wondering what would cause my car to blow white smoke out of the exhaust only when it is starting. And it has sat for a few hours it will last for a couple minutes and go away. just wondering if anyone new what would cause this.

Most likely your valve guide seals are worn. Rings as well. How many miles do you have on the car?

White smoke normally comes from a bad head gasket. A leak between the water jacket and one of the cylinders will cause some coolant to go into the cylinder after the engine is shut off. It is burned upon start-up.

Get it fixed.
