I think you managed to get the "Do it yourself" look to it, which suits the car very well. Good job N2OZeBozz 05-18-2005, 07:50 AM The evo has a really nice hood. For the camaro, I think you should add some shadow on the supercharger. Keep it up bro! Legionofone 05-18-2005, 08:18 AM the blower is a B I T * * to work with... im not quite skilled enough to pull that off totaly... but im getting there... ya im getting the CF mesh size better... and the clarity of it... :) LT1MAN 05-18-2005, 10:06 AM they both look pretty good to me cham2020 05-18-2005, 10:22 AM awesome job bro ! KustmAce 05-18-2005, 10:19 PM What happens if you want to drive the Camaro at night? N2OZeBozz 05-18-2005, 10:23 PM stick two maglight(I don't know how it is written) torches on both sides of the hood.....and you are ready for Las Vegas! Legionofone 05-19-2005, 03:51 AM lights on the SS were under the grill like in a charger BuLLDoGG 05-19-2005, 04:17 AM evo, i realy hate the CF and the back rim is totaly off. camaro, is nice, but the blower is all bent or smthin dsnt look proper to me... nevertheless u did nice job keep practicing Legionofone 05-19-2005, 06:55 PM i cant see anything wrong with the back wheel on the evo... u will have to elaborate... and ya the blower is distorted a little because the car i got it off was at a slightly different angle... i couldent find a exact match... what did yall think of the headlight mods on the Evo...? Stingray 60 05-19-2005, 09:34 PM I don't see anything way off on the rear rim either.. Might be a little shallow but judging by the front one they really arn't that deep so looks good to me. CF ain't bad.. seen a LOT worse! As for the blower.. YA been there. If it isn't taken at a pefect angle its way hard to contort it in. If you grabbed the engine + the hole that might be why is so hard. You might want to just select the blower and paint your own hole in the hood... that way your distorting a bit smaller area AND you can sink the motor in a lil deeper and have more playing room.. Just a thought. Your getting WAY better.. :) Legionofone 05-19-2005, 11:32 PM muhaha thankie :) <3 the CF technique gets tricky... im working on it and that definately wasent my best CF job ever :) the best i think so far would be on the eclipses... BuLLDoGG 05-20-2005, 04:11 AM i have to disagreee on the back rims and say again that it is off, u can see all of the spokes which in reality wouldn't be the case N2OZeBozz 05-20-2005, 09:07 AM I think it would better to take rims from cars in the same angle as your car rather than using one single picture for both rim... This should also get rid of flat rims! good luck assad_l 05-20-2005, 08:11 PM i dont really like the camaro that much but the evo is pretty nice you did a good job on the cf and rims. grantrl78 05-22-2005, 06:32 PM I like the camaro w/o lights :) Those both look really solid! I like the front of your evo too! Looks like jet intakes. Bet it would suck up large birds too :) psyche! :) Legionofone 05-22-2005, 09:31 PM OMG u have now inspired me to want to try a jet mod :) i dont think i can do it but it will be cool if i can... grantrl78 05-24-2005, 01:18 AM it was a joke :) Legionofone 05-24-2005, 02:57 AM ouch! thats cold!!!! dood thats the uglyest thing i have ever seen in my short sad life... omg.... and yes all my mesh i do myself :) Legionofone 05-24-2005, 03:05 AM I think it would better to take rims from cars in the same angle as your car rather than using one single picture for both rim... This should also get rid of flat rims! good luck i dident... go find hiroboys 350 z thats the image i used to chop the wheelz off... <3 those rims... anyway... at the angle the car is u would just barely see all 5 spokes... grantrl78 05-27-2005, 10:49 PM Man that was a joke :) And a joke only. Your chopz rock. : :smokin: Legionofone 05-27-2005, 10:56 PM hehe i tryed to make a jet... it dident work :( *crys* i couldent get a jet at a good angle :) supershiro 06-10-2005, 11:32 AM yeah unless you have like all wheel steering that back rim is off alittle on the evo, th headlight mesh junk sucks b/c no one does that, it just doesnt look good, if you wanted to do something to the headlights black them out or something, it is something you dont really see because people usually chrome out lights instead.. aside from that, your CF is kinda sketchy, work on it alittle. the camero is pretty nice, i like the way you took out the headlights, the symbol on the front, was that there in the origonal?... ( the liscense plate... eh... if your gonna do that then atleast have a fine print font ) The chrome around the blower cutout needs a touch of light on the backside, and the inner lip around the air filter ( the aluminum looking part, needs alittle more shadow for the lighting of the picture.) Now that all of that is out of the way we can get down to the really good stuff. I like the way you did the kit on the evo, it looks natural, even brings it up to date ( as if 2005 that is) The reasion i didnt like the mesh/headlight thing is b/c it looks like you just took the mesh and put it across the kit vents the intercooler and the headlights ( as if carlessly using the same piece for a vast majority of the front), which in lamest terms is kind of tacky. but, THEY are both clean chops, there are just a few minor details you didnt notice. Legionofone 06-10-2005, 12:19 PM yeh well... the way i do my mesh... is i take my mesh pic.. and copy and paste it in mask mode... then i go to normal... and i have a mesh like pattern selected i then i color it how i want it.. put it in place and work with the blending options supershiro 06-10-2005, 12:42 PM any idea why people even put mesh on their cars?, i mean sure it might be like bug-guard for your intercooler or intake but other than that its just... tacky... well most of the stuff ive seen irl was put in by amatures though, i havent really seen a professional job parsay. how do you do your CF?... ( saw this CF prelude in a mag the other day, then a totally diffrent one with the exact same silver CF and it ended up diffrent on each of them, one had the pannels overlapping and it looked really bad, but i think i want to try to come up with a technique for colored CF) Legionofone 06-10-2005, 12:51 PM i can color that CF... and its all in what ur wanna do... IRL u can candy coat the CF with a simi transparent paint and the CF will come threw the color... and thus be that color... i just select... copy paste... desaturate darken fill layer with my mesh patern... then i distort it to the angle of the car... put some twirl in delete the parts over... put the CF mesh layer into overlay and bam CF for everyone! :) and i have always liked looking at mesh over black holes... it basicly just protects ur very valuable components... or in the ricers case... there 5 dala cone filer and stock engine shit and i still cant see anything wrong with that rear wheel... lol looks near perfect to me... Ridenour 06-10-2005, 11:21 PM Evo turned out great supershiro 06-11-2005, 01:27 AM hmm how do you post images on here, *ss's bro* i finished the angle chop of the sc400, the colors are diffrent on his comp than mine and his has the photoshop so the corner light in the bottom of the front kit is really sketchy... if i only knew how to post them you would get the chance to cratique all you want ;). ***will be getting a login here pretty quick, SS doesnt want to be banned, eh anyway, no hard feelings right? you are the one who started the names, like he said... *shrug* no big deal right?, peace and more choppin to do right?... *** lamehonda 06-11-2005, 01:35 AM Don't really like the mesh over the intercooler on the evo. Legionofone 06-11-2005, 11:10 AM tha was there :) i dident put a intercooler on :) i like mesh so i guess :) yeh assad_l 06-11-2005, 07:34 PM How you use the mesh is heaps better than how i do it i just paste the mesh there select around the grill then inverse, delete and inner shadow. my next chop ill try your technique. Legionofone 06-11-2005, 07:46 PM :) I CARE ABOUT MY MESH!!! :-P <3 hehe! supershiro 06-11-2005, 09:16 PM haha, thats beginning to become more and more obvious as the days go on :P. very protective of it as well it seems :). SS's Bro. lamehonda 06-11-2005, 09:41 PM Does mesh affect the aerodynamics of a car at high speed? If it does, it sucks bigtime. virtual_starwind 06-12-2005, 03:09 PM so you have no plans on fixing the blower or?... Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
