I"m just about done with another SR20det Full rebuild. This engine will be available in about 3 weeks or as soon as the boat comes in from japan with my pistons. Here is what all it will have

All new internals (pistons, rings, main bearings, rod bearings, timing chain, tensioner, guides, full valve job, ect ect) (rods, crank, cams won't be replaced unless outside of factory specs)

Pistons and rings will be Factory nissan oversided pistons offered for sr20det. 86.2mm

Block is being bored, decked, boiled, replacing freeze plugs and such.

Full valve job is being done on the head, Checking the head and machining to factory specs for true.

All new gakets and seals through out

Polished crank, and cams

Every piece is being checked to be as close to factory perfect as possible.

Includes intake maifold, exhaust manifold, turbo, and flywheel.

Basicly fully rebuilt as close to perfect engine as you can get. So anyone intrested in this just contact me or if you have any other questions post them up or pm me or whatever you need to do.

Which Internals? I hope if your spending all that time on it you should at least upgrade to the 54Cs.

yea i know...oh when i said block i meant long block (meaning with head) i know it is stock internals...i really dont mind i would rather have it stock internals anyways...i mean unless you want to throw some 264 cams in it...:D

Theres different Internals. Theres the 54J and the 54C the 54Js are the Red Tops and the 54Cs are the Blacktops. the 54C has a different Oil Pump, Rods, Pistons, and Head (A GTIR Motor without ITBs) the 54Cs are the ones that can hold 590WHP stock.

I think people are just figuring it out first it was no difference, then there was a slightly different head and now people are figuring out that the 54Cs (GTi-R / Blacktop) can hold more power. becasue of slightly Revised Internals
