280 z motor

i may have found my 280 motor im told there is a local going to build a quote drag car out of a 280 hes gonna drop a small block in there lol not turbo im guessing but i got the setup for a 280 turbo just i bought it with a chunked block from a thrown rod and havent had anything to do with it since but now may be as good of a time as any lol small block in there for the drags maybe i can trade my 350 i got laying around for it he wants to drop one in it anyway and if i got one sitting therer who knows it would be sweet i also got a 305 tbi he might be interested in tha would work to either way
even if hge want money any idea of what the max i should pay????
what about if its not strong and needs a rebuild and help on a price i shiould offer would be nice
